SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office Investigators have received felony arrest warrants for two men, following a lengthy investigation including cooperation of the Fresno Police Department.

33-year-old Hernan Coto and 32-year-old Jesse Jurado are being sought by authorities.  Investigators linked Jurado to an identity theft ring that has victimized dozens of people in Santa Cruz County. One of the victims was an 82-year-old woman whose home was burglarized.

Investigators later obtained video of Jurado using the victim's stolen credit cards at an ATM.

On January 7th, both Coto and Jurado were arrested by the California Highway Patrol in a stolen vehicle and in possession of stolen credit cards and identity theft items, but they were released after posting a bail bond.

Jurado is on probation for felony evading of a peace officer and is wanted in connection of an identity theft ring plaguing Santa Cruz County.  Coto is also on probation for being in possession of narcotics while carrying a firearm.

If you have information on the whereabouts of Jurado or Coto, contact the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office at 831-471-1121.
