The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Warning for Northern & Southern Salinas Valley, Hollister Valley & Carmel Valley.

It will go into effect at 2am Saturday through the early morning hours.

Lows tonight will be in the 20's and 30's. Some of the coldest spots last night included 29 degrees in Gilroy, 32 degrees Salinas, and 25 degrees Bradley.

The chilly temps will be sticking around through the weekend with a gradual warm-up next week.
