Budget: UC, CSU To Receive $250 Million - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- There's some good news for California colleges.

Governor Jerry Brown's budget calls for a five percent increase in general fund support for the University of California.

Both the UC and the California State University system are expected to receive an extra $250 million.

The budget is now in the hands of the State Legislature that has until June 15 to pass it.
