SALINAS, Calif. - Broken glass and stolen watches was the scene that Tony De La Torre woke up to his store on Laurel today. Three men broke into his shop for the second time in two years.
"Well they've been here before, no doubt about it. They knew exactly where everything was at and they are professionals. They've done it many different times and they are going to try to do it to other businesses," said De La Torre.
This time his security cameras were able to catch a glimpse of one of the three men as they scrambled through his cases.
The video shows that they not only hit one, not two but three cases in just a minute and the biggest stuff was back here in the back.
The men broke in just before 3:30 this morning and he said he hopes someone will recognize the men responsible.
"They were in and out in about a minute and ten seconds. We have video, we even have their faces, no fingerprints but they were professionals.
De La Torre said that he will do his best to secure the store but overcoming the loss will be a huge test.
"We have to figure it out, but it was approximately 30 to 50,000 dollars loss including the damage of the property so maybe 60,000 at the end."
Now, all he can ask is that the community comes forward to help fight the crime.
"Hopefully, once we show the video and it airs, united and we come together and protect our community," explained De La Torre.
