Lane Closures Expected Along Highway 1 in Monterey and Salinas

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. -- Caltrans said they will have road lane closures along Highway 1 starting January 13th to January 20th. Crews have several construction dates set for roads in Monterey and Salinas.

Weather permitting, Caltrans said Highway 1 near Rocky Creek will have construction planned for January 7th to January 11th. Crews will be out at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on January 14th to 18th. Caltrans said Rocky Creek has one way traffic control going all the time. Drivers should expect traffic to be stopped for 10 minutes at a time during the day.

Highway 1 and Fremont will have lane closures January 13th to the 18th from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Crews will be out working on the guardrail. Drivers can expect 10 minutes delays.

Crews will also be out on Highway 1 and Trafton Road to Airport Boulevard between January 14th, lanes will be closed and drivers can expect delays up to 15 minutes.

Highway 68 and Highway 1 will have construction from January 13th to January 18th.

Highway 101 near East Market Street in Salinas from January 13th to Jan. 18th.

Highway 101 near Blackie Road and Pesante Road and Reese Circle.

Highway 101 between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road. 

Highway 101 between Crazy Horse Canyon Road and Echo Valley.  

Highway 101 near Dunbarton Road and Rocks Road and San Juan Road.
