Gas Siphoning Reports Spike in Prunedale - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

PRUNEDALE, Calif. -- The Monterey County Sheriff's Department has received several calls about gas being siphoned from parked cars in Prunedale.

The last incident reported by a woman on Sage Court Monday night. She told deputies she found a gas can and siphon hose resting beside her car. When the victim looked up, she saw a vehicle speeding away.

Deputies say if you notice any suspicious activities or possible siphoning incidents, make sure to grab the license plate number or description of the suspects and call your local law enforcement.
