Scenic Drive to Big Sur Will Be Delayed By Roadwork

BIG SUR, Calif.- The Transportation Agency of Monterey County said roadwork will take place next week on Highway 1 at Rocky Creek for the Viaduct Project.

On Jan. 7 – Jan. 11 daytime roadwork on Highway 1 will take place from 7 am to 5 pm. Overnight closures continue from Sunday, Jan. 6 through Thursday, Jan. 10. Hwy. 1 @ Rocky Creek has one-way has one-way signalized traffic control 24/7. Traffic will be stopped for 10 minutes at a time during daytime roadwork.
