MONTEREY, Calif. -- Monterey County Sheriff's deputies said a man was shot while he was sitting in his car. The suspect is still at large.
Deputies said it happened Thursday around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Gonda Street in Pajaro. The victim told officers that he was sitting in his car when the suspect approached and shot him through the back window.
The victim was driven to the hospital by a family member and treated for a gunshot wound.
Deputies said a 9MM was used in the assault. The suspect is still on the loose.
