WATSONVILLE, Calif. -- Police responded to a report of shots fired into a home in Watsonville. Officers said it happened along the 100 block of Elm Street just after midnight on Friday.

Several witnesses said they heard the gunshots fired in the alleyway. Officers were unable to locate any suspects. Police said multiple shots were fired through the window of a nearby home.

Police don't have a description of the suspect(s) involved. Anyone with information is asked to call (831) 768-3352 or (831) 768-3544.
