MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. -- Caltrans has planned a two-day emergency striping project over the Salinas River Bridge near Castroville.
The project is going to start Wednesday January 9th and is expected to finish on Thursday. Caltrans said the roadwork requires crews to alternate lane closures in both directions. Workers will be out from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
If there's rain Caltrans said it will reschedule its road striping plans. Drivers can expect a 10 minute delay while traveling over the Salinas River Bridge. Caltrans is asking drivers to drive slow when they see crews out on the roads.
