Santa Cruz Warriors Fall on the Road to End Hot Streak

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Santa Cruz Warriors were on the road last night after going 4-0 during their first ever home stand. The Warriors put the best record and the longest winning streak, five games, on the line against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The Warriors fell short of the Mad Ants 102-86.

The Mad Ants are the D-League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, Charlotte Bobcats, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks. The Mad Ants were lead by Orlando Johnson, who was on assignment from the Pacers, with 25 points.

The Warriors led by Stefhon Hannah, who was started strong in the first quarter and scored a game-high 27 points. Travis Leslie added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Taylor Griffin scored 16.

The two teams wrap up the series this Saturday, January 5 in Indiana against the Mad Ants, tip off is scheduled for 4:30 PST.
