Pacific Grove Moves Forward With Seaside PD Discussion - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif.-  Pacific Grove city leaders are looking to Seaside for more police officers. 

On Wednesday night, councilmembers approved a recommendation to have the city manager move forward with issue and meet with the Police Officer's Association and the Police Management Association. 

Mayor Bill Kampe said if talks go well, Pacific Grove may enter an agreement with the City of Seaside.  Kampe said the city already has a similar agreement with the City of Carmel. 

Pacific Grove and Seaside have already been sharing a police chief since June, but now want to expand to share street cops.
