Fire Destroys Mobile Home, Sends 20 Firefighters to Scene

SALINAS, Calif. - A fire has totally consumed a Salinas mobile home on San Juan Grade Road tonight and sent 20 firefighters to the scene.

Acting Battalion Chief Chris Vaughn says the home's owner is out of town and firefighters say they don't know how it started, though an initial investigation points to the living room and attic as the starting place.

Nobody else has been affected by the fire.
