MONTEREY, Calif. -- Despite the storm expected to make its way through to the Central Coast, people were out enjoying the nice weather near Cannery Row and the airport was even quiet.
Monterey Regional Airport PIO Jennifer Hickerson said the weather hasn't had any major effects on flights, at least not yet, but it's definitely something staff is keeping a close eye on.
Direct flights to local cities have been good, but some flights to and from San Francisco have been cancelled, Hickerson said.
If your final destination is the midwest, you could also be delayed.
Flights are expected to be more full than they usually are, but Hickerson said there's plenty of parking and the terminals shouldn't be overly crowded.
It's recommended that people check their airline's website for the status on their plane.
