Monterey Police Arrest Four at Drug House

MONTEREY, Calif.--Monterey Police have arrested four people for maintaining a drug house.

Officers served a search warrant related to the sales of heroin in the 400 block of Larkin Street on Thursday, December 20, 2012.  Heroin and psilocybin mushrooms were confiscated.

 he arrests included the two residents of the home: Justin Kelly, 24, for possession of heroin for sale, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and maintaining a drug house, as well as possession of a dangerous weapon (metal knuckles) and resisting arrest.  Sarah Boffemmeyer, 23, was also arrested for being under the influence of heroin, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a drug house.

Additional arrests included Samer Alwahab, 30, of Monterey for possession of heroin, paraphernalia and being at a location where narcotics are used and sold.  Steven Shortt, 19, of Monterey for possession of paraphernalia and being at a location where narcotics are used and sold.
