No Showdown Over 'Painter Of Light' Estate

Posted: Updated:

LOS GATOS, Calif.- According to the Hollywood Reporter, the public dispute over the"painter of light" Thomas Kinkade's estate has been settled in private nearly nine months after his death from an accidental overdose at his Los Gatos home.

The Hollywood Reporter said the ex-wife of Kinkade, Nanette Kinkade, was in a war of words with Kinkade's live-in partner, Amy Pinto over his will.

On Wednesday, reports say the "two women in his life came to an undisclosed agreement over the rights to his California mansion, warehouse of works, and the remainder of his funds."

So, one can hope it will be a peaceful holiday of sorts at Kinkade's Monte Sereno estate in the Santa Cruz mountains. According to the online publication, Hispanicbusiness.com, Pinto has accepted a deal in return for her silence and not to prove her love for Kinkade.
