SALINAS, Calif. - Salinas Police say a man is undergoing treatment at a Bay Area hospital after being stabbed in Salinas' Chinatown neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
Officers the 22-year-old man in the area of N. Main Street at Lake Street suffering from multiple stab wounds to his back. The victim was somewhat uncooperative and provided several accounts of what happened, saying he was assaulted by at least two suspects and subsequently stabbed.
He was life flighted to a San Jose Hospital with life threatening wounds. Minimal information on the suspects description was provided.
