State Vehicles Go Green

Posted: Updated:

California is making a push for more electric car use in California. The state says it has purchased ten zero-emission vehicles.

The cars, Nissan Leafs, are the newest part of the state fleet.  The purchases are a response to an order by Governor Brown that state agencies increase their use of zero emission vehicles.

The state is also adding several charging stations in its state garages in Sacramento which can be used by the public.
