BEN LOMOND, Calif. - California Highway Patrol and CalTrans have closed Highway 9 in both directions this morning. Initial reports came just after 3 today for a tree blocking both lanes.
The tree is down near Shadow Brook Lane and Highway 9. CalTrans and CHP are directing traffic onto Glen Arbor Rd around the hazard.
PG & E are on scene now. CHP says and estimated time to reopen the highway is another five hours.
According to PG & E's power outage map, 115 people are without power at this time. An estimated time for restore is 9 A.M.
