CARMEL, Calif- Carmel Mayor Jason Burnett and his wife decided to celebrate Christmas early when they attended a party at the White House.
President Barack Obama and family hosted the exclusive party.
On Tuesday, Burnett said the two were heading back home after being there since this past Friday.
Burnett added that he invited the First Lady and the President to spend their next anniversary here on the Central Coast, rather than spending it at a Presidential Debate like they did this year.
Little known fact that President Obama and the first lady spent their honeymoon here on the Central Coast, Burnett says.
