CBS is reporting 27 people are dead, including 20 children in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut. CBS says the children who have been killed are between 5 and 10 years old.
Police said they found the gunman dead inside the school. Investigators told CBS they found two handguns and one rifle on him inside the school. Investigators said a body has been found in a home connected to the shooting suspect. They are looking into whether the shooter has a criminal background. Investigators are still trying to piece together a motive for the shooting.
