Earthquake Rocks Southern California

AVALON, Calif. -- An earthquake shook southern California early Friday morning.

The 6.4 magnitude quake hit a little after 2:30 about 215 miles southwest of Los Angeles. The epicenter was in the ocean off Baja, California. It was followed up seconds later by a 6.1 magnitude aftershock.

At this point there are no tsunami warnings issued for the pacific. So far there have been no reports of any damage or injury.
