HOLLISTER, Calif. -- Police have contacted the person who has allegedly been calling San Benito High School for several days making bomb threats.

Investigators said the caller is out-of-state. Police have not released the name of the suspect because the investigation is on-going.

Hollister police is working with the FBI on the case. Officers said they were able to locate the suspect who allegedly left threatening messages at the school. They said the caller is from Michigan.

Police in Michigan contacted the suspect and interviewed him. Officers said the man is cooperating with police and gave them a statement. They have not released any more details.

Hollister police said no students at the school were ever in danger of an explosive device. The department expects to release more information next week.
