Salinas Foster Freeze Robbed at Gunpoint

Salinas, Calif. -- Police are on the hunt for the man who robbed the Foster Freeze on South Main Street at gunpoint Monday night.

Salinas Police say employees were cleaning up the restaurant for closing when the suspect came in and demanded money from the cashier. The cashier complied, turning over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspect then ran out of the business and was last seen eastbound on Oak Street.

Police describe the suspect at 5'10" and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie, blue jeans and was armed with a small chrome handgun. If you have any information, you're urged to call Salinas Police.
