Random Act of Kindness Goes Viral

NEW YORK, New York - The online world is blowing up with a photo, shared from the New York Police Department Facebook page. It depicts an NYPD officer performing a random act of kindness - giving a pair of boots to a homeless man. 

The picture was snapped by a tourist from Arizona, Jennifer Foster. And since then, it's gone viral, with almost half a million likes on the photo so far. 

The officer, Larry DePrimo, says he asked the man where his shoes were, and when he said he had none, he went to the store and bought him some insulated winter boots, and socks.

    SALINAS, Calif- Police are responding to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. At this time police have E. Bernal at North Main closed off looking for a possible suspect.
