SEASIDE, Calif. -- Pacific Gas & Electric confirm power has been restored to customers in Seaside after a storm-related outage, but over 500 customers throughout the Central Coast are still in the dark.
Crews worked in the area of General Jim Moore Boulevard near Coe Avenue, and were able to get the lights back on at about 1am Friday morning. PG&E says 4,477 customers were affected in the Seaside outage.
But, PG&E says 520 customers in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties are still without power due to storm-related outages. Representative for PG&E say there are about 27 seperate outages throughout those counties. PG&E does not know when they will be able to have power restores in those area, but they say it will hopefully be sometime Friday morning.
