WASHINGTON, D. C. - A federal judge has ordered that major tobacco companies must publish corrective statements, admitting that they lied about the dangers of smoking.

A judge said Tuesday that each of the ads must say the tobacco companies "deliberately deceived the American public about the health effects of smoking."
