HOLLISTER, Calif. -- California Highway Patrol officers say a multi-car crash claimed the life of one person in San Benito County, Tuesday afternoon.
CHP say the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on Highway 156 and San Felipe Road.
There, two cars collided in the intersection, pushing one of the cars into the path of a Big Rig heading west on 156.
The driver of that car, a Mecury Sable was killed.
The passenger of that vehicle was airlifted and another driver was also seriously injured.
At this time, officers say a car running a red light may to be blame for the crash.
