SALINAS, Calif.- A woman who suffered stab wounds Monday night at a party had to pull over on Espinosa Road near Highway 101 outside Salinas and call for an ambulance.

The 26-year-old woman was trying to drive to the hospital with a stab wound in her right forearm. Authorities said the woman and her husband claimed to be at a party between Marina and Castroville when the stabbing happened just after 9:30 p.m.

CHP is investigating for any alcohol and drugs.
