Victim from Friday Night Salinas Shooting Dies from Injuries - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif- The 19 year old man shot while washing a car with his friend on the 1000 block of Garner Avenue Friday night had died.

Devante Arias was approached by two suspects when they pulled out a handgun and shot Arias several times.

Arias was flown to a Bay Area Hospital where he later died from his injuries on Sunday.

According to witnesses, the suspects in this case fled in a light brown or gold Toyota Camry that was waiting nearby for them.

Salinas Police spent Friday evening canvassing the neighborhood for any signs of the suspects or evidence.
