SALINAS, Calif. -- Salinas Police are on scene at All Safe Mini Storage on North Main Street investigating a possible shooting.
Central Coast News heard on the scanners one man was shot in the abdomen and police are searching for a maroon Passat Volkswagen with four men inside.
Reports say that a woman at the facility was taken away in handcuffs, but it is not known what her relationship may be to the victim.
The male victim, who is 37 years old, was shot once in the lower left abdomen.
The victim said he was walking northbound on N. Main Street when two subjects approached him. One of them shot at the victim six times striking him once. The victim was life flighted to San Jose and he is expected to survive.
Traffic on southbound on North Main is now back open.
