SACRAMENTO--It has now been more two weeks since the election, but votes are still being tallied in many counties in California.
Just 17 of the state's 58 counties have completed counting, according to the latest reports turned in to the Secretary of State.
Counties have until December fourth to finish their vote counts and election workers are still at it at the Sacramento County elections office.
Most races around the state are over, but not all. The 50th Assembly District race in Los Angeles is incredibly close. More than 170,000 ballots have been counted and as of last night, Santa Monica Mayor Richard Bloom led Assemblywoman Betsy Butler by just 79 votes.
