SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, Calif. -- The search was still on Tuesday night for a man accused of kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon in San Juan Bautista.
Santa Benito County Sheriff deputies say Cameron Paul Bush got out of his car and attacked a couple with a metal pipe near Anzar Road late Monday night. Deputies said Bush then tried to get the girl to get in his car. The victim, who is believed to be Bush's ex-girlfriend, was able to break away.
Bush took off and hasn't been seen since the incident.
