Hillary Clinton in Israel for Peace Talks

TEL AVIV, Israel - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Israel today, to help facilitate a diplomatic solution between Gaza and Israel.

Fighting between the two territories has been escalating over the past week, with rockets flying between them.

According to CBS News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that he preferred a diplomatic solution to the conflict between his country and Hamas militants, but also said that Israel would "take whatever action is necessary to protect its people."
