SALINAS, Calif. - It sounds like something out of a horror movie.
A 51 year old man was in his apartment on the 400 block of Regency in Salinas Sunday morning, while a female friend was visiting. He asked her to leave, and she called for a ride. While she waited, the man went to take a shower.
To his surprise, when he got out of the shower, a white male in his late twenties was waiting fo rhim! For unknown reasons, the man stabbed the victim in teh back with a butcher knife.
The suspect also stole the victim's wallet, and left. It is unknown whether he and the female friend left together.
The stab wound was not life threatening, and the victim is expected to recover.
The case is currently under investigation.
