Couple Wins Big Sur Half Marathon - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

MONTEREY- A husband and wife duo took top honors today in the Big Sur Half Marathon on the Monterey Peninsula.

Arizonan Ben Bruce finished strong and well in front of both a Ugandan and a Kenyan who had a photo finish for second.

Bruce's wife of two weeks, Stephanie Rothstein-Bruce won for the women, clocking the second fastest women's time in Big Sur Half Marathon history.

Seven thousand runners from throughout the U.S. completed the race today with nearly half the field coming from the Bay Area.
