SALINAS, Calif.- A car chase up Hwy 101 ends with the suspect on flat tires.
Soledad police saw a woman steal a car at a park and put out a "be on the lookout" to area officers, not too long after Gonzales police officers stopped the woman and followed her.
When the woman got on highway 101 headed north toward Salinas, Gonzales asked CHP for help. The chase ended near the Market Street exit after officers laid a spike strip near Airport Blvd. and the tires finally deflated.
