SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Santa Cruz Police are investigating a homicide that happened Friday night south of Depot Park.

Police say around 11:00 p.m., they found the body of a 51 year old man in a campsite. Since the body was found, they arrested a 26 year old man in connection with the homicide but are not releasing his name at the moment.

The name of the deceased is also being withheld pending notification to relatives.
