Traffic and parking in Downtown Monterey, Cannery Row and New Monterey will be impacted between 2:00am and 11:00am on November 18. Many streets will be posted with "No parking, tow away" signs in the event area. Drivers can expect traffic delays in those areas between 4:00am and 11:00am.

Starting at 4:00am, the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail will be closed to facilitate runners in the half marathon. And from about 6:00am to 9:00am the Lighthouse Tunnel will be closed in both directions.

Additionally, access to New Monterey and Cannery Row will be via Highway One and Highway 68. Drivers coming to downtown Monterey from New Monterey and Cannery Row will have to use Lighthouse and the Pacific Street southbound extension.

Other major street closures include: The southbound Highway One Del Monte Avenue and Casa Verde Way exits as well as the Del Monte between El Estero and Figueroa and the entrance to Wharf #2 at Figueroa. Those will be closed from approximately 6:00 to 6:00am. Del Monte Avenue from Sloat to El Estero and Del Monte from Figueroa and through the northbound Lighthouse Tunnel will also be closed from 6:00 to 9:00am. During this time, access to New Monterey and Pacific Grove will only be via Highway One and Highway 68.

Southbound Lightbouse Avenue and Pacific Street, from New Monterey and Pacific Grove to Downtown Monterey, will still remain open. Those who reside or work in the area bordered by Aguajito, Del Monte, Pearl and Alvarado will be allowed limited access (ingress and egress) to the area by vehicle up until approximately 5:30am via Fremont and Abrego.
