SOLEDAD, Calif. - Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night in Soledad involving a 19-year-old victim.
Police say the teen was flown to a Bay Area Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries after being shot twice while he waited for friends in his car on Palm and Monterey Avenues.
Police say an unknown number of suspects approached his car, then started shooting through the window. He was struck twice.
He was stable when he was loaded into the helicopter, no word on the exact extent of his injuries right now.
Police are talking to witnesses to get a better idea of what happened, and what suspects they're looking for.
