Man Hit by Car in Salinas; Has Life-Threatening Injuries

SALINAS, Calif. - A man is in a trauma center with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car in salinas...

It happened while the 23-year-old was crossing north Main Street near Massa Avenue -- not in a crosswalk -- at 7:30 last night.

The driver said he didn't see that victim until it was too late.

The victim was thrown onto the windshield, giving him severe, life threatening head injuries.

The driver was cooperative.

No word on any charges.
