Roadwork Underway on Congested Highway 68

SALINAS, Calif.- If you thought your commute on Highway 68 was bad enough, it will be getting even slower as roadwork continues through next week.

The Transportation Agency of Monterey County said Highway 68 at the Highway 1 East junction will resume Nov. 12- Nov. 15. Night work on westbound Hwy 68 will result in closures between the hours of 7 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes. Crews will be working on the guardrail.
