Arizona Gun Man that Killed 6 to be Sentenced Today - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

TUCSON, Ariz. - Jared Loughner, the 24-year-old charged with the 19 federal charges in the shooting spree that left six dead and 12 others wounded during a campaign event outside a supermarket, will be sentenced today.

Loughner opened fire during former U.S. Republican Gabrielle Giffords political event in January of 2011.

Prosecutors told CBS News that several of the victims will comment during today's sentencing. Loughner pleaded guilty on the 19 charges in a bargaining that he will spend the rest of this life in prison with no possibility of parole.
