Motorcyclist Crashes on Highway 101 After Hitting Crate

SOLEDAD, Calif- A motorcyclist is recovering after crashing his bike into a crate that was abandoned in the middle of the highway, Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 2:30pm on the northbound side of Highway 101, between Front Street and Camp Hora Gloria Road.

The motorcyclist lost control after hitting the crate and crashed shortly after.

The man was transferred to Natividad Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Traffic had to be temporarily diverted from 101 to Camp Hora Gloria Road but all roadways are now clear.
