Police Say There Has Been A Major Spike in Burglaries in Marina

MARINA, Calif. -- Marina Police say in just the past week 9 burglaries have been reported.

Now police are reaching out to citizens to for help getting information to solve the residential, business and car burglaries that have happened recently.

Police say the burglars have been stealing electronics and other tools. Many of the items have been taken from rented storage units in Marina.

To help spread the word about the burglaries and other crime happening in Marina, residents can download Nixel. It's a notification system that alerts people if something is happening in their city.
