NEW YORK, NY - The hopes of a full NHL season have come in gone in the midst of a lockout that started on September 16, but plans to get part of the season played are still hanging in the balance.
According to CBS News, a representative from both sides met in an undisclosed place and time on Saturday. It is unknown what was discussed but it was determined that both sides will meet again Tuesday in New York.
The NHL has canceled games from October 11 to November 30, a total of 327 games including the outdoor Winter Classic that was scheduled to be played in Michigan Stadium, between the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
