SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, Calif. -- According to the U.S. Geological Survey the 3.4 magnitude earthquake happened around 7:30 a.m.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in San Juan Bautista and could be felt in surrounding areas like Prunedale, Aromas, Hollister and San Jose.

The exact location in San Juan Bautista is 36.816°N, 121.546°W. The depth of the quake was 6.7 km (4.2 miles).

No damage from the earthquake has been reported.
