Court Hearing Continued Again for a Man Accused of Killing His Ex-Wife

MONTEREY, Calif. -- It could be 2013 when the Naval Postgraduate School Professor accused of killing his estranged wife is arraigned on murder charges.

Lawrence Jones was due to be in court Tuesday to be arraigned but the hearing was continued again due to medical issues among other reasons.

The hearing has been set, at this time, for January 7th.

Monterey police say Jones shot and dismembered 29 year old Norife Jones, dumping her remains in a wooded area of Aromas.

Jones has been held at Monterey County Jail since September.
