Cocaine and Meth Found in Attic, Marijuana Hidden Under Chicken Coop

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. - The Santa Cruz County Anti Crime Team ended a two month long investigation and recovered a massive amount of drugs. Tuesday morning Federal Agents served search warrants at a house on 39 Boling Rd in Las Lomas and 20 Maher Road in Prunedale.

Agents conducted a search of the home on Boling and located approximately 194 grams of cocaine, 93 grams of crystal methamphetamine and over $6,000.00 in US currency hidden in the attic at of the home on Boling Road.

During the search of the home on Maher Rd, Agents located 455 grams of marijuana located under a chicken coop at the rear of the residence. 127 grams of black tar heroin was also located at the bottom of a bag chicken feed and $3,400 in US currency was located within the residence. 

Agents also arested two brothers in connection with this drug bust. Manuel Reyna Hidalgo was arrested at the house on Boling road for possession for sales of a controlled substance and narcotics. His brother, Jose Guadalupe Hidalgo Reyna, was arrested at the the Royal Oaks market where he worked.

Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Monterey County Jail. In addition the Department of Homeland security placed immigration holds on both of them.
