Student at North Salinas High Arrested for Selling Cocaine

SALINAS, Calif- Police say they arrested a 17-year-old student for selling cocaine.

According to a police news release, the 17-year-old student was called into the office of North Salinas High School to discuss his grades and truancy. School officials said the student was "extremely nervous" so they called the police.

Police said that the student had cocaine and there was evidence that he was going to sell it. The 17-year-old was arrested and taken to juvenile hall.
